Cherokee County DA announces plea agreements

The Cherokee County District Attorney’s office has released its plea agreements for the month of September:
• Tracy Doss, burglary of a building. The plea agreement was for two years in prison, probated for five years;
• Steven Dunlap, burglary of a habitation. The plea agreement was for 10 years deferred probation;
• Thomas Elledge, sexual assault of a child. The plea agreement was for four years in prison;
• Dora Laborico, fraudulent use of identifying information. The plea agreement was for five years deferred probation;
• Darrell Legnon, theft. The plea agreement was for two years in prison, probated for five years;
• Justin Paul, aggravated sexual assault of a child. The plea agreement was for eight years in prison;
• Juventino Pizano, aggravated sexual assault. The plea agreement was for five years in prison;
• Broderick Session, possession of a controlled substance. The plea agreement was for nine years in prison;
• Rodrick Silmon, robbery. The plea agreement was for three years in prison;
• Rodrick Silmon, burglary of a habitation. The plea agreement was for 10 years deferred probation;
• Tommy Smith, burglary or a habitation and unauthorized used of a motor vehicle. The plea agreement was for five years in prison;
• Juan Suarez, driving while intoxicated with a child under 15. The plea agreement was for 10 years in prison, probated for 10 years;
• Norman Thacker, possession of a controlled substance. The plea agreement was for 180 days in state jail;
• Mark Thompson, burglary of a habitation. The plea agreement was for 10 years deferred probation; and
• Charles Walker, terroristic threat against a public servant. The plea agreement was for 180 days in state jail.
