Bullard girls named to all-district team

Bullard’s Miller, Lust
top all-district squad
Bullard players grabbed two top honors in the recently released District 14-3A volleyball squad.
Calli Miller, sophomore of Bullard, was named the Most Valuable Player in the district.
Junior player Whitney Lust of Bullard shared the Outstanding Setter honors with Jennifer Moore of Chapel Hill.
Other superlatives include; Outstanding Hitter, Malleri McGee, senior, Brownsboro; Defensive Player of the Year, Ashley Parish, junior, Van; Newcomer of the Year, Delaney Herrington, freshman, Athens; Outstanding Blocker, Sara Scarborough, senior, Brownsboro; Coach of the Year honors went to Becky Daughtry of Brownsboro.
First team selections from Bullard include Elizabeth Rosebury, senior and Allison Burton, junior. Other members include: Allison Sanders, junior, Athens; Libby VaanCleave, senior, Athens; Amber Strickland, junior, Brownsboro; Trish Crocker, senior, Van; Kayiesha Brown, senior, Canton; Jennifer Moore, senior, Chapel Hill and Jasmine Gardner, junior, Chapel Hill.
Ashley Moss, senior and Whitney Worthen of Bullard were named to the second team. Also on the squad were; Kelsie Christian, senior, Chapel Hill; Alex Easterling, senior, Chapel Hill; Kathryn Schoonover, junior, Athens; Holly Eckert, junior, Athens; Christy Carter, senior, Van; Chelsea Chimney, junior, Brownsboro; Kelly Miller, senior, Brownsboro; Kaitlyn Carder, senior, Brownsboro; Cassi Smallwood, sophomore, Canton.
