Jacksonville Daily Progress
I would like to compliment the writings of Ben Tinsley. In the past my husband and I were getting a bit frustrated with the spelling and, especially, the grammar of the former reporters. We had a game – finding all the mistakes in each article: dangling participles, misused pronouns; incorrect tense, running paragraph, etc. Never came out with less than 5 per article.
Then, along came Ben! We love your descriptive adjectives; your complete (and complex) sentences; and your humorous injections. We compliment you on your command of the English language. Your wit and humor make reading the paper a delight. The investigative depths you take in your work need to be recognized as well; I don’t want to skip your ingenuity.
Thanks for making the J’ville Progress worth the read. Hope you stay.
