With Spring here, we want to encourage everyone to drive past the Senior Center/Vanishing Texana Museum and take a look. Keep Jacksonville Beautiful has planted about 40 camellias, azaleas and spirea around the building.
In addition, we had the building cleaned and painted and built up flower beds all the way around. The city just built new sidewalks, and we will landscape them soon.
We also hired a local firm to keep the lawn cut and edged on a regular schedule. The museum board, along with the city, have refurbished the inside of the building and it looks great.
Now, we are working on the library and have planted azaleas and dogwoods there.
We hope you will take a few minutes to enjoy the beauty of this East Texas spring in the wonderful city of Jacksonville!
