Maggie Lee Smith and Joshua Michael Hulstine, both of Jacksonville, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Beall Chapel Baptist Church. Reverend Robert Newton officiated the ceremony.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore a sequin and pearl-laced mermaid-style gown with an empire neckline, designed by Galina. Her veil was especially designed with pearls by family friend, Gennie Grundy. The flowers for the ceremony were designed by Debbie Lindsey.
Maggie is the daughter of Mike and Pennie Smith of Jacksonville. She is a 2007 graduate of Jacksonville High School.
Josh is the son of Kathy Hulstine and Johnny Hulstine, both of Jacksonville. He is a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville High School.
The maid of honor was Holly Whitehead.
Bridesmaids were ShelBee Simpson, Jamie Hulstine and Bianca Rios.
The best man was David Wilson. Groomsmen were Casey Blakeney, Adriel Mendosa and Aaron Ousley.
The flower girl was Sydney Smith, niece of the bride and the ring bearer was Caleb Blakeney, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. The entertainment was provided by Boogie Butt Productions. The cakes were created by Designs by D’Anne. These special moments were captured by Snaps Photography.
After a wedding trip to South Padre Island, the couple resides in Jacksonville.
