Local graduates receive Scholar Dollar awards from Lon Morris College

Six high school graduates in the Scholar Dollars Program at Lon Morris College were rewarded for their hard work and good grades on May 6 at Awards Night at Jacksonville High School, indicating their scholarship credit at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville.
Collectively, these students have earned a grand total of $25,000 in Lon Morris scholarships since their seventh-grade year. Those honored were Rebecca Bateman, Audreanna Boseman, Kelsi Brubaker, Mollie Chancelor, Boone Hugghins and Becky Reyes.
At Frankston High School’s graduation on May 30, Maria Hernandez will be honored with her Scholar Dollars certificate.
Students from New Summerfield receiving awards at graduation May 30 are Diana Pacheco and Rebecca Tennison.
Rusk’s Scholar Dollars graduates are Yara Cardoso, Ben Christopher, Tad Dover nd Misty Watson. The date of their commencement is June 6.
Jordan Price of Jacksonville is also a Scholar Dollars graduate.
