Brown, Jack to marry

— Dewayne and Donna Brown of Troup are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son, Heath Wayne Brown, to Brittany Claire Jack, daughter of Roger and Claire Verot of Canton.
The couple will wed June 29 at Eagle’s Bluff Country Club in Bullard.
The groom-to-be is from Wyley and formerly of Troup. He is the grandson of Don and Christene Maxwell of Jacksonville and Florence Brown of Troup. He graduated from Troup High School and Tyler Junior College before attending The University of Texas-Tyler where he received a bachelor of science degree in surveying and mapping engineering.
He is currently employed at Halff Associates Inc. in Richardson.
The bride-elect is from Canton. She is the granddaughter of James and Ella Fae Ashe of Canton.
She graduated from Canton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Texas A&M University in Commerce.
