Abbott honored with coffee

A coffee honoring Amanda Abbott, bride-elect of Jim Heron was held Sept. 12 in the home of Mrs. Cynthia Durrett.

Guests were served assorted mini muffins, petit cinnamon rolls, cheese straws, pecan cheese ball with crackers, fresh fruits, mixed nuts, cranberry lemon aide punch, and coffee. The serving table was decorated with a stunning centerpiece of hydrangeas, antique green roses, weeping amaranthus, seeded eucalyptus, hypericum berries, and monkey tails in a leaded glass bowl.

Hostesses for the lovely event included Hazel Boone, Nancy Bruner, Ann Culotta, Cynthia Durrett, Angie Goodpasture, Lyn Ousley, Gerry Phifer, Susan Phillips, Maria Prcin, Jackie Spraggins, and Bettye Turney.
