RHS art teacher shares master’s reproductions

Rusk High School art teacher Arthur Sekula hosted a Teacher’s Discovery Traveling Exhibit during the week of Nov. 17-21.

He won the free use of the giant art reproductions after entering a contest sponsored by Teacher’s Discovery.

The students and staff at Rusk High School enjoyed the art of Salvador Dali, “the father of surrealism.”

The exhibit features the well-known “Persistence of Memory,” which is familiar because of the appearance of its “melting clocks.”

Art, dual language and multicultural history were celebrated through this special event.
