Elementary students get tour of arboretum

JACKSONVILLE — “If it has three leaves, stay away. If it has five, it's OK,” David Daniel, Master Gardener's club member, said as he described poison ivy to first-grade students from Fred Douglass Elementary.

After a week of STAAR testing, students were given a trip to the demonstration garden at Ruth Nichols Arboretum.
