JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville police officers helped return a missing man to his family on Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon, a call came in reporting erratic driving through the city.

Officers spotted, and stopped, a gold Cadillac whose driver was not driving consistently.

When officers pulled the man, in his mid-80s, over, they discovered he was a missing person from Dickinson, Texas, which is in Galveston County near Houston.

"He appeared to be confused," according to the JPD.

He was taken to a local  hospital and his family was notified. The family did come collect the gentleman, who was not injured but had some underlying medical issues, according to the JPD.
