JACKSONVILLE — Live demonstrations, Wild West re-enactments and a silent auction are part of the Mission Tejas Folk Festival held today from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the state park, located on Texas Highway 21, between Alto and Crockett.

The Texas Top Guns will provide a Wild West re-enactment, complete with chuck wagon food service. Other events include Civil War exhibits, Buffalo soldier re-enactors, a one-room school house display, a black smith and fur trader.

The Jacksonville Jam-mers dulcimer club will provide musical entertainment, as well.
