BROWNSBORO — Teams from Bullard came to town Friday and scored two lopsided District 14-3A victories.
Neither game was in question with the Panthers and Lady Panthers dominating from the very start.

Panthers 12, Bears 1
The Bullard batters were blazing with 15 hits in the rout of the Bears.
Southpaw Jacob Whatley pitched a three-hitter and struck out 12 batters on the night. He added a double and a triple at the plate.
Other top hitters for Bullard were: Charlie Moore and Lance Anding, with two doubles each; Travis Eudley had a triple and a double; and Ryan Wood added a double.
Bullard broke the game open with eight runs in the third inning.
“Whatley pitched well — he hit his spots. He had good movement and mixed up the pitches well. He never seems to give the other team a good pitch to hit,” said Bullard head baseball coach Ronnie Dent.
Bullard is 11-6 overall, 4-0 in district play.
The Panthers take on Canton Tuesday in Bullard at 6 p.m.
“Canton is a young team. They put the ball in play —they’re aggressive. We have to play our game and do what we’re supposed to do. Any team in this district can sneak up on you,” Dent added.

Lady Panthers 13, Bearettes 1
Sophomore pitcher Erin Kipp struck out 12 and allowed just one hit in a complete game win for Bullard.
Coach Billy Holcomb said top hitters for the team were: Valarie Roberts, with a three-run homer; Erin Kipp, who was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI; Allison Burton went 2-for-5, had a double and one RBI; Alayna Kipp, who was 3-for-5 triple with two RBI; Mandy Gillard who was, 3-for-5 with three RBI and Lara Buysman, who wa 2-for-4.
Holcomb said, “We end the first round of district 5-0, we’re 20-3-1 for the year.”
The Lady Panthers will host Canton Tuesday at 7 p.m.
