JPD officials continue search for missing man

JACKSONVILLE — Police continue to search for a 28-year-old man who has been missing since Tuesday, Jan. 21, according to Jacksonville Police Detective Jeremy Pate.

Randal Rahushun Roberson reportedly left about 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21, en route to New Summerfield, and  never arrived at his location. He also never returned to his residence.

"We are continuing to follow any information we get, and so far the things we've checked out don't provide a location for him," Pate said. "So, at this moment (Friday afternoon), we are not any closer to finding him."

Roberson was last seen traveling in a white 1995 Mercury Cougar, which was found abandoned Thursday on a county road just north of New Summerfield, police said.

Roberson has black hair and brown eyes. He is 6-foot, 1-inch tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has a tatoo of a the Bentley (car) logo on his chest and a tattoo that reads "Donovan Ray" on his neck.

He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, dark blue t-shirt, black pants, blue and black Nike Jordans and a silver necklace with a silver pendant attached.
