Jag-Mania, a two-day inaugural program hosted at Jacksonville College, will give high school seniors a taste of life at Jacksonville College during the Feb. 7-8 Homecoming weekend.
College students students will lead activities and answer questions about the college, a Baptist Missionary Association of Texas school whose roots date back to 1899, according to the school's website.
Auditions and tryouts also will be held for choir, band, theater, athletic teams and cheerleading for those who are interested in participating in any of these groups next year, according to a JC press release.
Students have an option to participate Friday and Saturday events, or Saturday only. Those who wish to stay overnight in the dormitory will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow; overnight stay is limited to the first 25 students who sign up.
Sign-in is from 4-7 p.m. on Friday evening; there also is an 8 a.m. Saturday for those attending for that day only.
Dinner on Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on Saturday are provided. Admission to the Homecoming games is free.
