JACKSONVILLE — Two religious institutions of higher learning have announced registration dates for upcoming spring semesters at their facilities.
A Dec. 20 early registration deadline – as well as a regular Jan. 14 spring registration date – has been set for Jacksonville College, a Baptist Missionary Association of Texas school whose roots date back to 1899, while at the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary, registration begins Jan. 17.
The seminary – originally part of a program that initiated at the college that became an independent entity in 1955 – offers associate, bachelors and masters degrees; it also is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools to award the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Church Ministries and the Master of Arts (Religion) degree, according to www.bmats.edu.
Jacksonville College, meanwhile, has both an associate degree program and a two-year junior college diploma.
Both schools offer continuing education courses and non-traditional sessions between semester breaks and summer school.
