Lorene Tomlin - Thursday, March 26, 5:36 p.m.

Graveside services for Lorene Tomlin, 92, Whitehouse will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Whitehouse cemetery with Bro. Benny Portwood officiating services under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Tomlin went to be her Lord and Savior on March 24, 2009. She was born November 12, 1916 in Smith County to the late John H. Thompson and Effie M. Raseberry Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marshall A. Tomlin and 2 sons.

Survivors include daughters, Patsy Long and husband John of Jacksonville and Linda L. Stuard and husband Bob of Tyler; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Long, Brian Long, Bill Dowdy, Bob Stuard and John Long.

Family visitation will be Friday 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
