Lewis O. Napps - Wednesday, April 1, 1:44 p.m.

Graveside services for Lewis O. Napps, age 94, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 3, 2009 at Jarratt Cemetery, Jacksonville with Bro. Ken McEachern officiating.

Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mr. Napps passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Jacksonville.

He was born July 12, 1914 in Chandler, Texas to William (Willie) Bert Napps and Oma Railey Napps. He married Ola Dudley Napps in 1949 and was a devoted caregiver to her in later years. He was a retired carpenter and Veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of Beall Chapel Baptist Church.

Mr. Napps is preceded in death by his wife Ola Ora Napps, parents, brothers and a sister.

Survivors include daughter, Donna M. Tucker and husband Tony of Jacksonville; son, Alton Napps and wife Trixie of Mt. Selman; son, Dale Napps of Jacksonville; sister Cecil Newburn of Lake Palestine; grandchildren Allison Napps of Huntsville, Cody and Matt Drew of Jacksonville, Brian Tribby, Tanner and Tayley Napps all of Mt. Selman; great granddaughter Brooklyn Drew of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.

No visitation is scheduled.
