Funeral services for Patsy Ann Ball, age 77, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Pastor Phillip Alred and Pastor Freddie Wright officiating. Burial will be at Larissa Cemetery in Mt. Selman.
Mrs. Ball passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Jacksonville.
Patsy was born January 31, 1936 in Alto to Oren and Beulah Locke Cummings. She worked as a Pro-Tech for Baxter Pharmaseal and was a seamstress and caregiver for many years.
Mrs. Ball was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church in Ironton.
She is preceded in death by her son, Harold Ball; husband, Horton Ball; and parents, Oren and Beulah Cummings.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Ball, Sr. of Jacksonville; brothers, Billy D. Cummings and wife Sue of Douglas, Max A. Cummings and wife Jolene of Kingwood; sister, Helen Selman and husband JC of Alto; daughter-in-law, Eva P. Ball of Athens; six grandchildren, Jerry Ball, Jr., Wensdy Ball Maldanado, Misty Ball, Stephen Ball, Patricia Loden, and Joe Ball; nine great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ball, Morgan Ball, Ray Maldanado, Jr., Matthew Ball, Jonathan Ball, Hunter Ball, Bailey Ball, Kimber Loden, and Hadley Ball.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jerry Ball, Jr., Stephen Ball, Joe Ball; great-grandsons, Wyatt Ball, Morgan Ball, and Ray Maldanado, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Ball, Hunter Ball, and Matthew Ball.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
