Graveside services for Mary Lloyd, 85, of Bryan, formerly of Kilgore are scheduled for Fri., Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mark Hendrick officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Lloyd passed away on Mon., Jan. 28, 2013 in Bryan.
Mrs. Lloyd was born May 21, 1927 in Ponta, to the late C.E. Liles and Virginia Hodges. Mary was a longtime faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Kilgore. Mrs. Lloyd was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, painting and cooking for family and friends. Mary will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in law; Linda and Danna Dyess of Bryan and Carol and David Sullivan of Ft. Worth; son and daughter-in-law Carlton, Jr. and Joann Lloyd of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Danna Dyess, Jr. and wife Dee Ann, Christie Lynne Dyess, Cory Dyess and wife Michelle, Diane Woodward, Angela Garza, Anthony Lloyd and Justin Lloyd; ten great grandchildren; a niece Rebecca Liles Vanderveer as well as many other loving family and friends.
Mrs. Lloyd is preceded in death by her loving husband Carlton Ray Lloyd, Sr. who passed away in 2008.
The family will receive friends Thurs., Jan.31, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home.
