Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Jones, age 57, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 11 a.m., Sat., Sept. 21, in Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Martin officiating.
Interment will be in Providence Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mrs. Jones passed away Sept. 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born Feb. 20, 1956 in Canutillo to the late Roy Elden Henry Mayes and Bille Jean Malone.
Mrs. Jones was a resident of Jacksonville for 35 years and worked as a nurse in home health care for 22 years.
She graduated from Tyler Junior College and from Lon Morris College with a nursing degree and honors. Mrs. Jones loved to read and work puzzles in her spare time. She was Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy E.H. Mayes, mother, Billie J. Denley, sister, Betty J. James, brother, Roy E. H. Mayes II. Survivors include her husband, Billy R. Jones of Jacksonville, daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Joey Foreman of Jacksonville, son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Angela Jones of Coffee City, son, David Jones of Jacksonville, six grandchildren, Bethany Foreman of Jacksonville, Jared Jones of Marysville, Washington, Conner Jones of Marysville, Kirsten Parker of Tyler, Dakota Coble of Coffee City, Hayely Coble of Coffee City, sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Lovell of Mesquite, several cousins, nieces, nephews, numerous in-laws, and her special Tiffy.
Pallbearers will include Joey Foreman, Bobby Sanders, Michael Mayes, Roy Riggins III, Brandon Riggins and Matthew Vaughn. An honorary pallbearer will be Bill Lovell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Fri., Sept. 20, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
