Our dearly loved, devoted, father, brother, grandfather, and friend passed away on December 20, 2013, after losing his battle with cancer.  He was born February 25, 1936.  It is our deepest hope and belief that he is now peacefully resting in the loving arms of his Savior Jesus.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife Nora Cline Irwin of 43 years, His Parents Luke and Sarah McCann Irwin, Sister Frances Ann, Brothers Luke Haydren and Paul Rodney and Grandson Joshua Holland Irwin.  John resided, worked and raised his children in Houston and Longview, TX.  John (aka Jack) and wife Nora were owners of Jack’s Stereo in Longview, TX.  When John retired from Peters Chevrolet in Longview, TX, he retired to his birthplace of Reklaw, TX.  John was active in city, community and attended church affairs.  John loved to visit relatives and dear friends and attended class reunions and other social events.  He was well known to many people surrounding the Reklaw area and he also enjoyed the blue grass music festivities in Sacul, TX.  John dearly loved his family and friends and in turn was loved and respected by many.  We love our Father dearly and are filled with lasting loving memories that would take pages to tell.  He will be deeply missed and live forever in our hearts.
