JACKSONVILLE — Chapel services will be held at 2 p.m. Fri., May 24,  at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville for Alex C. Coslett, Jr.

Burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery in New Summerfield.  

Alex was born Jan. 29, 1942 in Olton, TX to Alex Columbus Coslett, Sr. and Lucy Bell Goodson Coslett.  He was a truck driver and a Pentecostal.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruthie Lee Coslett and his parents.  Alex died in Denver, Colo. on May 18, 2013.  He is survived by his wife, Sheila Coslett of Jacksonville, two sons, Alex C. Coslett, III of Athens and Travis Hill Coslett of Bullard, four daughters, Jeanette Parham of Cedar Ridge, Colo., Chrissy Nemetz of Olathe, Colo., Michelle Hull of Jacksonville and Sheila Craver of Jacksonville, one sister, Ruth Fowler of Jacksonville, two brothers, Bob Coslett of Jacksonville and Jimmy Coslett of Corsicana, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Alex Coslett, Travis Coslett, Charlie Beys, Jeffrey Soto, Charlie Kramer, and Gage Coslett.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
