Elizabeth Caldonia (Allen) Morton

JACKSONVILLE — Elizabeth Caldonia (Allen) Morton went to be with her heavenly Father, Friday night, May 9, 2014. Elizabeth was born in Capeech County, Mississippi, on September 23, 1934, and died at the age of 79 years old. She lived in Laguna Beach, California, most of her life, and moved to Jacksonville, Texas in October of 2013, to live with oldest son Steve and Linda Girault for health care.

Elizabeth battled with Alzheimers' Sundowners for nine years and other illnesses, but she was a very beautiful and independent woman. She worked for Flurr Industries for many years.

She had three children: Steve and Linda Girault from Jacksonville, Texas, Suzanne Confer from Laguna Woods, California, and John Jr. and Tereza Charles from Santa Ana, California; three grandchildren, Stephanie and Chris Yardley, Amanda Sipa and Christofer Charles; Stepdaughter Deanna and Ron Frances; stepson Wesley and Hope Wilson; great-grandchildren Katelyn Elizabeth Yardley, Johnathan and Jacob Sipa; step-great-gradchildren, Cassie and Courney Frances; great grandson Caleb Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, RD and Margaret (Davis) Allen, three step-sisters, one step-brother, five brothers and four sisters.

Elizabeth will forever be loved and remembered.
