JACKSONVILLE — JACKSONVILLE – Mass of Christian Burial for Dickie Bellanger, age 46, of Jacksonville, will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Father Mark Kusmirek officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Rusk.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mr. Bellanger passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, in Tyler.
He was born October 31, 1967, in Raceland, LA.
Dickie was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. He worked as a painter in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Klebert and Theresa Bellanger; daughter, Trisha Ann Bellanger; and sisters, Gloria Davis and Margaret Commadle.
Survivors include his wife, Candi Bellanger of Jacksonville; his sons, Dickie Paul Bellanger, Matt Bellanger and wife Ashley, Casey Ray Bellanger and wife Kevan, all of Jacksonville; daughter, Amanda Lynn Bellanger and husband Steven of Jacksonville; brothers, Robert, Steven, Brooks, Bill, Barry, Lee John, Daniel Bellanger, all of Lockport, LA, and Edmond Bellanger of Jacksonville; sisters, Aline Loupe and Ruth Ann Bellanger, both of Lockport, LA; sister-in-laws, Laura Breaux of Gueydan, LA, and Rachael Pierce of Ben Wheeler; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Casey Bellanger, Matt Bellanger, Steven Foreman, Jordan Craddock, Terry Breaux, and Shawn Arnold.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terrance “Bud” Breaux, Edmond Bellanger, and Kenneth “Ken” Bradshaw.
Viewing will begin on Thursday, May 24, 2014, with family receiving friends at 6 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. rosary at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
