JACKSONVILLE — Funeral services for William G. “Bill” Hamrick, age 69, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tues., Oct. 30, at Corinth Baptist Church, Jacksonville with Rev. James Blaylock officiating.

Burial will be held at Meador Cemetery, Jacksonville.

Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Mr. Hamrick passed away Fri., Oct. 26, 2012 in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 6, 1942 in Jacksonville.

Mr. Hamrick was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Jacksonville and retired as a cable splicer after 30 years of service, having worked for both GTE (now Verizon).

He is preceded in death by his parents Barney Artemous Hamrick and Ora Louise Bynum Hamrick, grandson Gabrian Coltellero, brothers Ralph Hamrick and James Henry Hamrick and sisters Bonice Pfeil Besaw and Joan McElhaney.

Survivors include his wife Linda Hamrick of Jacksonville; daughters Barbara Lindsey and husband Keith of Mixon, Teresa Hamrick of Rusk, and Kimberly Hooper of Dallas; sons Bruce Hammond of Dallas and Samuel Rushing and wife Glenda of Rusk; sister Betty Stone of Dayton; three grandchildren Kala Lindsey of Mixon, William Davies of Grapevine and Karly Hamrick of Rusk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Mon., Oct. 29, . at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
