Dianne Gay

JACKSONVILLE — Graveside services for Mrs. Dianne  Gay, age 72, of Jacksonville, will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Vinson Cemetery in Afton Grove with Bro. Jan Pate officiating.  Boren-Conner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Dianne was born June 30, 1941, in Jacksonville, to William Lee and Jewel Cribbs Dickson.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was called "Dee" and "Dearer" by her family and grandchildren.  Dianne was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, and the Workers Sunday School Class.  She was a volunteer at the Jacksonville Christian School.  Her working career was spent at The Diamond Shop, Lang's Jewelers and Kids First.  She was a past member of Beta Signa Phi and the Eastern Star.  Dianne went to be with her  Heavenly Father on January 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.  Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Dickson and Jewel Lee Dickson, a brother, William James Dickson and a sister, May Elizabeth Alexander.  She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Earl Harper Gay of Jacksonville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Chris Beall of Bullard and Tammy and Kelly Philbrick of Jacksonville, two sisters, Mozelle Allen of Marshall, TX and Helen Ruth Taylor of Jacksonville, a brother, Harold Dickson of Teague, TX,  her grandchildren, Christopher  Beall and wife, Tiffany, Matthew  Beall and wife, Jordan, Victoria  Beall, Bradley  Beall, Robert  Philbrick and wife, Karah, her great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Brayden, Jackson, Levi and Tenley, as well as several nieces and a nephew.  The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Jacksonville Christian School.  A very special thanks from the family to Heart to Heart Hospice, Hollie Thompson, Carol Wilcox,  and special friends, Theresa Garcia, Tanna Williams and Stephanie Williams.    Friends and family are invited to share a time of rememberance  from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. , Friday evening at  2106 Baylor, Jacksonville, TX 75766.
