JACKSONVILLE — Services for Bettie Gross Crow Pettus, age 83, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tues., March 19, at Calvary Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Pastor Michael Mathis and Rev. Bob Huddleston officiating.  

Interment will follow in Jarratt Cemetery, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Bettie went to be with her Lord and savior on Fri., March 15, 2013.

She was born April 18, 1929 in Big Springs.

Mrs. Pettus was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was the wife of two Baptist ministers.  She was a daily blessing and an inspiration to all of those around her.  Even in adversity, she always had a smile.

She is preceded in death by her parents; J.T. and Vera Gross, husbands; Loyd Crow and Albert Pettus, brother, A.J. Gross, sisters; Oleta Johnson, Doris Maneval, twin sister, Billie Walker and a grandson Cody Copeland and an infant brother Gaston Gross.

Survivors are son; Phillip Crow wife Diann of Mansfield, Tx. daughter; Gayla Campbell husband Barry of Jacksonville, son; Odis Crow wife Lisa of Jefferson, daughter; Valarie Prather husband David of Jacksonville, daughters, Lajuan Copeland husband Jerry Sikes of, Trinidad, Colo.,   Denise Whitley husband David of Reno, Nevada, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Men of Calvary Baptist Church, Jacksonville.

A Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Autry Funeral Home.
