Warren W. Priestly
Services for Warren W. Priestly, 86, of Mineola formerly of Jacksonville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Tingle officiating. Burial will be at Jarratt Cemetery.
Mr. Priestly died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in Tyler. He was born December 31, 1919, in Rusk. He was a financial officer for Elgin Air Force Base in Florida and served with NASA in Washington, D.C. and was very influential in the development of the 10 Key Numeric Keyboards. He was a member of First Christian Church in Mineola. He served in the Army during World War II as a Master Sergeant in the European Theater, including during Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest F. and Vernon Priestly, and sister Gertrude Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Priestly of Mineola; step-daughter and husband, Jonnie and Gary King of Pennsylvania; nephew and wife, Warren and Marilyn Brown of Mineola; nieces and husbands, Judy and Don Black of Missouri, and Ann and Tom Jordan of Austin; 12 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; and one great- great nephew.
Pallbearers include Warren Brown II, Mark Black, Chris Brown, Kevin Bardwell, Jose Lengua, Bob Engram, Mike Larsen and Ken Kump.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2006 at the funeral home.
Services for Norris Montgomery, of Tyler, formerly of the Blackjack community, are pending with Mercy-McGowan Funeral Home of Jacksonville. Ms. Montgomery died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in a truck accident on Hwy. 276 west of Quinlan.
Roland Ray Rawls
Graveside services for Roland Ray Rawls, 79, of Rusk, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Cook Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Nunnally and the Rev. Jerry Standley officiating.
Burial will be in Cook Cemetery off of FM 241 near Linwood, under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mr. Rawls died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at his residence. He was born Jan 26, 1927, in Alto.
The funeral home will have open visitation.

Clifford ‘Cliff’ Stephens
Graveside services for Clifford “Cliff” Stephens, 82, of Frankston, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Frankston City Cemetery, with Mr. John Thompson officiating, under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Frankston.
Mr. Stephens died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at a Frankston nursing home. He was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Anderson County.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at the funeral home.
