Dave “Old Man” Watson

JACKSONVILLE — Memorial services for Dave “Old Man” Watson, age 60, of Lake Striker, are scheduled for 2 p.m .Saturday, Feb. 2, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. Grady Brittian officiating.

Mr. Watson passed away Mon., Jan. 28, 2013 in Tyler.

He was born September 16, 1952 in Denton to Hubert and Eva Jo Watson.

He was a TDC correctional officer-CO5, lifetime member of NRA, and a contributor to the East Texas Food Bank.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He is survived by his wife Jodi Watson of Lake Striker; son Chris Watson and wife Tammy of Mildred; brother Hubert C. “Bubba” Watson and wife Alicia of Ft. Worth; sisters Linda Holmes of League City, Becky Wick and husband Glen of New Braunfels, Mary Risinger and husband Ronnie of Spring, and Lori Bennett of Tomball; three grandchildren River Watson, Reagan Haskins, and Bryan Burns; two great grandchildren Emma Grace Burns and Kinley Faith Burns; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Robertson, Jamie Watson, Charles Burt, David Rich, Joe Bixler, and Casey Baufield.
