Calvin Jinkins

RUSK — Funeral services for Calvin Jinkins, age 85, of Rusk, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Mike Bradford officiating.  Interment with Masonic Rites will be at Henry Cemetery in Gallatin.

Mr. Jinkins passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Tyler.

He was born November 25, 1928 in Gallatin.

Calvin was a member of First Baptist Church in Ponta and a member of the New Summerfield Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Ruth Jinkins; daughter, Debbie Struhall; parents, Charlie and Virginia Jinkins; brothers, Arden Jinkins and Lewis Jinkins; and sister, Mauzie McGee.

Survivors include his son, Randall Jinkins and wife Tracy of Rusk; twin brother, Alvin Jinkins and brother, Clyde Minyard Jenkins both of Rusk; sisters, Faye Scarborough of Lufkin, Audrey Woodard of Rusk, Pearlene Gary of Tyler, Maye Vaughn of Huntington; grandchildren, Justin Jinkins, James Jinkins, Jamie Struhall, Terry Struhall; great-grandchildren, Hope Jinkins, Caris Jinkins, Dalaney Jinkins, Oliver Jinkins, Owen Jinkins, Madison Struhall, and Francis Struhall; special friends, Jacob and Carina Loredo and children, Apolonar, Cristyan, Victor, Ruth, Dianne, and Kelly.

Pallbearers will be Olan Woodard, Tony Jinkins, Miller Jenkins, Wayne Magee, Pat Jenkins, and Jeff Lamb.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, James Hataway, Bill Willeford, and Bob Fowler.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 26, 2014 with family receiving friends from 5-7p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
