David Ralph Heath

JACKSONVILLE — Funeral services for David Ralph Heath, age 91, of Canton, formerly of Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Fri., Dec. 14,  at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Dr. Edwin Crank officiating.

Burial will be held at Union Chapel Cemetery, New Summerfield.

Mr. Heath passed away Wed., Dec. 12, 2012 in Canton.

He was born March 28, 1921 in New Salem, Texas.

Mr. Heath was a retired accountant having worked for TXU for 45 years, served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a Baptist.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lela Mae Heath, parents David K. and Mattie Heath, and brothers B.W. Heath, Ray Heath, and Roy Heath.

Survivors include his daughter Judy Kay Grounds and husband Dan of Canton, sister-in-law Katherine Miller and husband Norman of Brazoria, and Pansy Heath of Overton, grandchild Danna Turner and husband Steve of Carrollton, and great grandchildren Elizabeth Turner and Graham Turner.

Pallbearers will be Norman Miller, Donny Miller, Tim Miller, and Michael Miller.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 -2 p.m., Fri., Dec. 14, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
