JACKSONVILLE — Graveside services for Wanda Weigman will be held at 2 p.m.., Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Mixon Cemetery under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Wanda was born July 11, 1925, in Mixon, TX, to Emmet and Annie Clyde Braly. After school she worked for many years at Newburn Hospital and for Dr. C. L. Newburn as his office assistant and as a nurse. She retired when her husband, Charley Alfred Weigman and she purchased their farm between Troup and Carlisle where they raised produce and cattle until health reasons required them to retire again. Wanda passed away on January 13, 2014, at the age of 88 in a Whitehouse Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Sam L. Braly, James Braly, and Vernon (Pete) Braly, sisters, Louise King, Claudine Mulligan and Eura Mae Clyburn and her husband, Charley Alfred Weigman who died on January 22, 2013. Wanda is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruby Braly, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time Thursday at Mixon Cemetery.
