James E. Moody

DIALVILLE — Funeral services for James E. Moody, age 72, of Dialville are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Rocky Springs Baptist Church with Rev. John Paul Little and Rev. Phillip Warren officiating.  Interment will be at Providence Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mr. Moody passed away after a courageous fight with cancer on Monday, May 5, 2014 in Dialville, TX.

He was born January 21, 1942 in Dialville to the late H.F. “Bud” and Bonnie Moody.

James retired as a maintenance supervisor for Dow Chemical in Freeport, TX after 33 years and a pipe line inspector for multiple companies for the past 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Moody of Dialville; son, Kevin Moody of Stafford; daughter, Deidra Crumrine and husband J of Lake Jackson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Charlie Beddingfield of Kerrville; niece, Michelle Hunt and husband Toby; great- niece and nephew, Meagan and Jared Hunt; grandchildren, Marissa Moody, Matthew Moody, and Alexis Moody, Colby Crumrine, Austin Crumrine, and Keaton Crumrine; and many supportive, caring friends and relatives.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Moody, Colby Crumrine, Austin Crumrine, Keaton Crumrine, Jared Hunt, and Richard Ownsby.

Visitation will begin on Friday, May 9, 2014 with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
