Jonathan “Jon-Jon” Wayne Rawlinson

JACKSONVILLE — Funeral services for “Jon-Jon” Jonathan Wayne Rawlinson, age 37, of New Summerfield. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thurs., June 27,  at Autry Funeral Home Jacksonville, with Rev. Donny Sadler officiating.  Burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery in New Summerfield.

Mr. Rawlinson passed away Mon., June 24, 2013, in New Summerfield.

He was born Aug.13, 1975, in Tyler.  He was a Baptist and worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice Skyview-Hodge Unit in Rusk, Texas as a correctional officer for the past 11 years.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Claudia Rawlinson.

Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Becky Rawlinson of New Summerfield, grandparents W. A. and Joyce Smith of Jacksonville, aunt and uncle, Linda and Michael Minton of Jacksonville, several cousins including, Michelle Arnold, Briana Arnold, Stephen Fuentes and Amber Rawlinson.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bolton, Joey Burns, Joey Bowman, Keith Norton, Bernard McQuin and Joseph Davenport.  Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Bird, Eddie Birdwell, Craig Weaver, Tim Tipton, Timmy Bundrick and James Arnold.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. June 26 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
