TYLER — Funeral services for Ernestine Meadows Bolton, age 92, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Eddy Searest officiating.
Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Bolton passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, in Jacksonville.
She was born March 11, 1922, in Italy, Texas, to the late Rev. Claude and Eugenia Meadows.
Mrs. Bolton was a member of The First Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Hubert Bolton, parents; Rev. and Mrs. Claude Meadows, twin sister; Christine Allen, sisters; Val Lake and Mary Bishop, brother; Claude Meadows, Jr., and her mother in-law; Dessie Bolton.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Claudia Stuart and husband Frank, Nancy Anderson and husband Jim, Valerie Marshall and husband Pat, all of Jacksonville; grandchildren Stacey and Trevor Rogers, Sharon Atkinson, Shannon and Lance Vincent, Amber and Tate Smith, Jamie Anderson, Geoff and Johni Marshall. There are twelve great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law; Louise Carnes, Fairy Grigory, Betty Loftin, Agnes and Roger Reagan, Helen and Jim Cromwell, Linda and Don Gregg, Larry and Sandra Bolton, Tony and Nancy Bolton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Allen, Jimmy Coats, Pat Meadows, Roger Reagan, Jim Cromwell, Don Gregg, Larry Bolton, and Tony Bolton.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 6, 2014, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
