Barbara Ann Lott

JACKSONVILLE — Barbara Ann Lott departed this world and went to be with her Lord on Feb. 12, 2013, after a battle with lung cancer related problems. The candle of life was extinguished on a true believer, a person wholly dedicated to almighty God. Her life was devoted to cultivating her relationship with Jesus Christ and calling on others to surrender to him on a daily basis that the love and power of God would fill them and flow out to others. Barbara will be remembered as an anointed teacher, counselor, and evangelist.

Barbara Ann Williamson Lott was born on Jan.9, 1933, in Flour Bluff, a suburb of Corpus Christi.

In 1960 they moved to Jacksonville. In 1972 she and James formed Faith, Hope, and Charity Ministry.

 Survivors include her husband, James E. Lott; of Whitehouse; two sons, Keith Edward Lott, of Troup, and Kyle Edwin Lott of Jackson, WY, two daughters, Karen Lynette Lott; of Tyler, and Kandace Denise Martin; of Plano.

The family will receive friends at the Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Sun., Feb. 17.

The memorial service will be Mon., Feb. 18, at 11 a.m., at Green Acres Baptist Church Chapel in Tyler. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup.
