Graveside services for James A. Nolley, age 72, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sat., March 2, in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Mathis officiating under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mr. Nolley died Feb. 28, 2013 in a Jacksonville hospital. He was April 10, 1940 in Alto to the late J.R. Nolley and Carrie Lou French. Mr. Nolley was a resident of Jacksonville 40 plus years formerly of Rusk. He was a member of Beall Chapel Baptist Church in Jacksonville and worked as a meat cutter for 45 plus years. Mr. Nolled served in the United States Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #108 in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Nolley of Jacksonville, two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Becky Nolley of Jacksonville, Matthew and Karen Nolley of Bullard, sister, Grace Berry of Mineral Wells, brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Goldie Nolley of Murfreesboro, Tenn., grandchildren, Stacey Nolley of Jacksonville, Michael Nolley Jr. of Jacksonville, Alexis Price of Bullard, Brent Helm of Bullard, mother-in-law, Lena Causey of Jacksonville, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmie and Billie Causey of Jacksonville, Dannie and Sandra Causey of Jacksonville, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m., Sat., March 2, at the funeral home.
