JACKSONVILLE — Funeral services for Brenda Lake, age 60, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Matt Idom officiating.
Mrs. Lake passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
She was born June 24, 1954, in Houston. Brenda married Ray and moved to Jacksonville where they lived on a farm and raised their children. She and Ray loved to travel and take their yearly summer vacation to Antigua. She enjoyed all the time she spent with her precious grandkids. “Nanna” was a woman who was always caring and optimistic. She left us all with beautiful memories and will be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Carol Klein and Ernest Klein.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Ray Lake of Jacksonville; father, David Stinson and wife Ann of Brenham; son, Preston Lake and wife Kayla of Ponta; daughter, Cassie Bingham and husband Chris of Jacksonville; brothers, Richard Klein of Houston, Ben Klein and wife Cynthia of Houston, sister, Debbie McLaughlin and husband Tom of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Linda Beach Zoller and husband Mike of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Taylor, Bridger, and Ryker Bingham, Carson and Aubrey Lake; nieces, Dawn Bacon and Rachel Mouser; and nephew, Sky Beach.
