Graveside services for Mr. Eaulon Lee Amick will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 10, at the Jacksonville Old City Cemetery with Rev. Lester Foreman officiating. Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements. Eaulon Amick was born Oct. 21, 1921 in Afton Grove, to Clarence and Beulah Amick. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a retired plumber. He was a Baptist and a very loving husband and father. Eaulon Amick was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maurine Amick, a daughter, Pamela Lois Amick, granddaughter, Tammy Griffin Harkey, great granddaughter, Courtney Griffin, two brothers and three sisters.
Eaulon is survived by four children, Yvonne Griffin and spouse, Mack Griffin, Mikal Don Amick and spouse, Patsy Amick, Patti Jo Turner and Ronald (Buddy) Amick and spouse, Bonnie, 12 grandchildren, Andy Griffin, Lee Griffin, Missy Griffin, Pam Amick, Mike Amick, Stephanie Amick, Bryan Turner, chris Turner, Robin Turner, Ben Amick, Angela Amick and Candace Amick, 25 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
