Mass of Christian burial for William J. Colvin, age 80, of Jacksonville is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sat., Aug.17, at Our Lady of Sor-rows Catholic Church in Jack-sonville with Father Robert Lanik, Father James Seamus Roland, and Father Efren Naño officiating. Service will be under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Still Waters Memorial Gar-den in Jacksonville.
Mr. Colvin passed away Wed., Aug. 14, 2013, in Jacksonville.
William was born May 27, 1933 in San Antonio.
Mr. Colvin served as a captain in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Cath-olic Church in Jackson-ville and a member of the Jacksonville Rotary Club. He also was a buyer in retail merchandising.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay D. and Margue-rite Colvin.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Colvin of Jacksonville; sons, Bill Colvin of Garland, Eric Colvin and wife Raquel of New Braunfels, John Colvin and wife Kristen of San Francisco; daughter, Karen Messer and husband Bruce of Arlington; sister, Colette Greene and husband Bill of Keith-ville, La.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Fri., Aug. 16, with rosary to begin at 6 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jack-sonville.
