Funeral services for William A. “Bill” Moore, age 73, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thurs., Dec. 13, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. David Higgs and Rev. Vernon Lee officiating.
Burial will be held at Still Waters Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville.
Mr. Moore passed away Mon., Dec. 10, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born Aug. 14, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Moore was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville and worked as a retail automobile part salesman.
He is preceded in death by his parents Quanah Moore and Clara Mundling Moore and brothers Butch Tonahill and Jim Moore.
Survivors include his wife Chris Moore of Jacksonville; daughters Vicki Weaver and husband Joe of Jacksonville and Lynne Bourne and husband Steve of Lanexa, Kan.; brother Ken Moore and wife Heidi of Fredericksburg, Va.; sisters Bobbye Jordan and husband Howard of Lake Cormorant, MS, Peggy Wideman and husband Billy of Bartlett, Tenn., and Diane Smith of Bartlett, Tenn.; six grandchildren Kyle Weaver, Kim Higgs, Kaci Pounds, Brandi Egan, Jennifer Powell and Kimberly Romero; seven great grandchildren Neil Higgs, Ryan Higgs, Jana Higgs, Andrew Romero, Kamryn Romero, Jordan Powell and Jeremiah Powell.
Pallbearers will be Jack Williams, Johnny Guinn, Ray Todd, David Cannon, Jim Kolb, Kirk Berry, James Riley, and Les Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Bowman, Don Tropp, Hooker Hood and Bill Saunders.
Visitation with the family will be from 9 -11 a.m. Thurs., Dec. 13, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
