— All-you-can-eat catfish
The Knight of Columbus are offering an all-you-can-eat catfish dinner at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Jacksonville. The group will hold a fry every Friday night through Lent. Proceeds benefit the group’s annual scholarships and other programs.

Healing room offered
River of Life Christian Church in Rusk has recently opened a Healing Room in which they offer prayer free of charge to anyone in need of healing. If you would like to come for prayer, the Healing Room is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday though Thursday or by appointment. Call 903-683-3132 for details.

Easter egg hunt
Afton Grove Baptist Church is holding a community Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at the church, located at 360 CR 4208, in Jacksonville. Immediately following the hunt, the church will serve hot dogs and beverages for lunch. Call 903-721-0327 or 903-586-2819 for details.
