St. John's United Methodist Church invites everyone to join us for an exciting June. Sunday School is at 10:15 with worship services at 11:15. Central Baptist offers divorce recovery seminar
DivorceCare divorce recovery seminar and support group meets at Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville each Monday at 7 p.m. Child care is provided through 6th grade. The church is located at 1909 East Rusk St. DivorceCare features nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “Facing My Anger,” “Facing My Loneliness,” “Depression,” “New Relationships,” “Kid Care,” and “Forgiveness.” The companion group, DivorceCare4Kids, for children of divorce ages K-6th grade will also meet at the same time. DC4K helps these children deal with similar issues through an age related curriculum that helps them understand that divorce is a grown-up problem that is never their fault.
