  <description>LUFKIN &#8212; It was a series to remember.The Alto Yellowjackets won Friday 11-1 and rallied late Saturday to take an 8-7 victory and win the area title.Game 1 Alto&#8217;s bats were booming Friday as they scored 11 runs off 10 hits, while on the mound Tarlandus Mitchell fanned 12 and threw a no-hitter.The Class A area baseball playoff game was called after five innings with Alto winning by an 11-1 score. Mitchell faced 18 Lovelady batters, a dozen times they went back to the dugout mumbling under their breath, unable to make contact.</description>
