JACKSONVILLE — The Jacksonville High School Athletic Department has developed a brand-new plan to streamline its annual fund raising efforts, which should make it much easier for Fight'n Indian/Maiden fans and supporters to donate one time each year to the total athletic program instead of having to contribute to multiple programs all through the school term.

Beginning this week businesses and individuals will be able to participate in the the Jacksonville Athletics Sign Sponsorship Program, which has several different levels to fit budgets of all sizes.

Each sign will be 4’ X 8’ and be similar to all-weather roadside signage that has proven to be a  popular and effective advertising medium.

Venues that the signs will hang at will include the Tomato Bowl, JHS Gymnasium, Summers Norman Baseball Complex, Fight'n Maiden Softball Complex and at the JHS Tennis Complex.

Money raised from the Sign Sponsorship Program will be used to meet the needs of each of the Jacksonville athletic teams.

There are several pricing options that are available.

Option 1, which costs $300.00 per year covers one sign at one venue.

For an additional $75.00 a second sign will be erected at a second venue.

To have signs placed at three different venues (for example, at The Tomato Bowl, Summers Norman Field and at the JHS Tennis Complex) the fee would be $450.00 per year.

Signs will be able to be renewed from year to year at a reduced rate.

Donations to the Jacksonville Athletic Program will also be accepted in any dollar amount.
