NEW CHAPEL HILL — For the third-game in-a-row, Bullard won via a shutout over a District 16-3A rival.

On Friday night the Panthers fileted the Bulldogs of Chapel Hill, 10-0, to run their record to 18-5, 8-1 in 16-3A.

Panther ace, Zach Eschberger was on his game on the mound once again, tossing a three-hitter.

Bullard jumped on starting pitcher Pat Day with three-runs in the first inning, and chased him with another run in the third stanza, trailing Bullard 4-0.

Eschberger meanwhile sat down nine of the fifteen Bulldog batters in the game and the Panther bats cranked out nine hits in the game.

The Bullard bats got two hits apiece from the Bryant brothers, Holden and Haden, and teammates Trevor Rumbelow and Weston Gray. Gray also added three steals among eight bases stolen by the Panthers.
