CHICAGO —

With the addition Sunday of Trent Edwards, the Chicago Bears now have four quarterbacks in camp that are competing for backup positions behind starter Jay Cutler.

Jacksonville's Josh McCown remains in that mix, as does Jordan Palmer and Matt Blanchard. Blanchard fractured a knuckle recently and has not been at full strength since as he continues to mend.

Edwards was a third-string signal caller with Philadelphia last year and has not started an NFL game in three years.
