NEW ORLEANS — Jacksonville native Luke McCown answered the bell by leading the New Orleans Saints to a 17-13 come-from-behind win over the Kansas City Chiefs Friday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. McCown connected with Preston Parker for the pair of third stanza scores, with both coming from two-yards out. McCown went 18-28 for 216 through the air and topped out with a quarterback rating of 96.7, which was the highest of the three Saints signal callers that saw duty in the team's first exhibition game of the season. Pro Bowl quarterback Drew Brees got the start, with rookie Ryan Griffin seeing mop-up duty. The Chiefs led 10-3 before got busy engineering the rally.
