RUSK — Two Rusk High School baseball standouts, Michael Crews and Drew Walley, have completed paperwork that make them members of the St. Charles (MO) Community College Cougar baseball team.

St. Charles CC is located near St Louis, in Cottleville, MO and is the fourth largest JUCO in the state.

The Cougars are coached by Chris Gober.

Crews (6-foot-1, 160 lbs.) was an all-state (Class 3A) shortstop at Rusk while Walley (6-foot, 250 lbs.) was an all-district pitcher. Walley also played both of the corner infield spots.

Both were two of the better hitters on the Eagle team.

Crews and Walley signed thier documents in front of family and friends in the lobby of Eagle Coliseum.

Rusk baseball is under the direction of head coach Jason Barnes.
